I get to interview some very interesting people for Auto Trader. Murray Walker and Jason Plato have been among my favourites.

But this weekend the tables were turned as I appeared on Sidepodcast – a weekly show for F1 fans.

There was no shortage of F1 news to talk about – McLaren’s whopping fine and unprecedented punishment, rookie Lewis Hamilton still leading the championship with three races to go and loads more.

We also talked about how the FIA accidentally leaked McLaren and Ferrari secrets, and whether McLaren will drop Fernando Alonso.

And of course I grabbed the chance to plug my weekly Auto Trader column Trackside (read yesterday’s article on Audi withdrawing all their drivers from a major German race) and my own sites F1Fanatic and Maximum Motorsport.
