Seat invited us to join them and a load of other motoring hacks for an evening of karting at The Raceway in London’s Kings Cross.

Messrs Milne, Hearn and Collantine battled through horrific traffic in the capital to what is said to be the longest and widest indoor track in the UK.
Keith ‘The Stig’ Collantine was in a bullish mood, even going as far as to bring his own crash helmet – complete with Eddie Irvine-style livery.
The amount of own kit brought to kart meets is often a barometer of how the leaderboard will end – the more gear, the faster the driver.
Myself and Adrian Hearn were standing in borrowed helmet, race overalls and fetching bakery-style hair nets.
Racing got underway, and Keith quickly asserted his dominance in the heats until he got disqualified during one stint for ‘going for a gap that wasn’t there, putting a rival into a tyre wall.
He protested innocence, and still does but has a bruised leg this morning as a aching trophy.
After losing his sixth grid spot in the first semi final when his kart packed up, he raced from the rear of the grid in the second semi he book a place in the finals.
A well deserved seventh place was the best result for Team Auto Trader, even if Milne and Hearn could only manage 27th and 28th out of 50 drivers.
