Auto Trader has a gorgeous BMW M5 previously owned by a legendary sportsman for sale on the site.
The 2000 BMW has a whopping 400bhp V8 engine giving the German motor a 0-62mph time of just 5.3 seconds.

And it has a top speed of 155mph – 8 more than the maximum this sportsman would normally get.
Not bad for a five seater saloon, which features air-conditioning, full leather, a six-CD autochanger and tips the scales at 1.8-tonnes.
This sportsman is the pride of Scotland having won his first world title in 1990.
He reigned supreme through the decade winning the title a further SIX times – beating the previous record held by two fellow Brits.
Now you can get your hands on his old BMW M5, which has covered 115,000 miles.
And for £11,989 there will no shortage of people cueing up to view the super-saloon.

Its probably the EVEN more boring Mr Hendry than the brilliant STEVE DAVIS but I’m going for Steve Cram who surpassed Seb Coe and Steve Ovett. However it could have been any number of other brilliant real british athletes.
