Why driving tests are unjust

In an unlucky twist of events, my driving test was cancelled yesterday.

The hopes I had of getting behind the wheel on my own have been dashed because the examiner is ill.

This is especially frustrating because I had the flu during my first test and was told I couldn’t cancel unless I gave the Driving Standards Agency three days notice.

Inevitably, today would have been a perfect day to take a driving test. The sky is blue, there’s no ice on the roads and 10.44am is the perfect time to take a test, according to Jason Dawe.

In the meantime I have to claim back my expenses and wait for the test to be rescheduled.
