MTV’s Pimp My Ride has taken great pains in trying to prove cars are not just a simple way of getting from A to B.
No – they are mobile entertainment centres, caravans, tennis courts, karaoke hubs, and all other assorted lifestyle additions.
But this is taking car-ownership to sizzling new heights – the ‘Exhaust Pipe Burger Grill’.
Hungry motorists unable to find a McDonalds, Burger King – or even Tesco – could bolt the contraption on to the exhaust pipe and use the heat from the exhaust to cook their burgers.
As part of a ‘Dining in 2015’ competition, an Iranian team designed the exhaust burger grill to envisage the future of fast food.
No word yet on how safe it will be for your engine – or indeed how long it would take to cook a burger – but we love it.
