We’ve refreshed and re-organised the Auto Trader home page and we’re keen to get your feedback.
Among the changes you’ll find a brand new logo, clearer links to information about buying and selling new and used cars and more changes in line with our aim of making the world of cars easy. We will start promoting these changes next week.
In the meantime have a look at the new Auto Trader now and give us your feedback below.

I quite like the website; especially where it tells you how many of each type of car there is in any area when you are looking to buy. However I prefer the previous logo.

Ohh I almost forgot… The worst thing about autotrader are the adverts that open a new window when you start looking at the cars for sale. I’d prefer it if my time was wasted waiting for the page I requested to see, instead of having to wait for a stupid advert to appear first just so I can close it again.

My comment is about the seach engine and the way certain advertisers are wording their adverts so that their advert is displayed when it does not really fit the customised search criterea. ie this week a mazda mx5 is advertised as having covered 87miles which fulfills my search of vehicles with less than 25k miles. In reality the mx5 has 87k miles on the clock. Advertisers should be made aware of their responsibilities with regard to advertising the vehicle accurately and autotrader should not accept such misleading advertisements. It is frustrating and a waste of time to wouldbe purchasers. M.R.
