The new Ford Fiesta – what do you think?

Ford announced the new-look Fiesta last week – the sixth generation model of their successful supermini.

Its curved styling bears striking resemblance to the Verve Concept cars which were shown at last year’s Frankfurt motor show.

The Fiesta makes its European debut later in the year, but more information will be unveiled at the Geneva motor show in two weeks time, so be sure to check the Auto Trader website regularly for up-to-date coverage.

In the meantime you can view our exclusive first images of the new Fiesta and find out what we thought of the hot Fiesta ST.

New features will include MP3 and Bluetooth dashboard connections – with voice-activated audio, improved steering, and a revised cabin for quieter road noise.

The radical new interior is enhanced with a sharp, revitalised dashboard, and a matching two-tone colour scheme. While the dazzling exterior takes it shape from the futuristic Verve Concept cars, it looks more like a miniature version of the 2008 Ford Focus.

But what do you think of the new Fiesta? How does it compare to previous models?

  1. hello! I’ve also just commenced putting together a site also and would be thankful for any tips you might have on making it popular

  2. I think its a great funky looking design, a step up from the conservative old one!

The new Fiesta looks awful… it’s just a blob on wheels with a weird grille. Can’t Ford stop messing about with these tall narrow stumpy cars and go back to making sleek cars with easy lines like the Capri MK 2 or 3; I’d buy one of them anyday ahead of this modern plastic front wheel drive rubbish.

Personally I think Ford exceeded, the front bumper grille is much like the ones from recent french cars, I don’t liked, and I know that Ford has plans to build it here in Brasil from 2010 on
