Keep your eyes open for the new Auto Trader television advert. It’ll be on tonight during “Trial and Retribution” which is on ITV1 at 9pm – and it’s on the Auto Trader website now.
Speaking of adverts, some of us went to the cinema last night to see “There Will Be Blood”. At least five of the adverts before the film were for cars, as dealers are gearing up for the big push to sell 08-plate cars from Saturday.
These were the two ads that made the biggest impression on us: Citroen’s amusing ‘unmistakably German’ advert for the C5 and Ford’s ‘beautifully arranged’ Focus advert – watch the videos below.

What do I think? What a total waste of money. Make a cheaper advert and pass the savings onto the customer.

I hate the way that ad companies are using our childhood theme tunes to market crap to us as adults. Flumps rule!
The advert is fantastic and what’s really great about it is that the Autotrader website really works… I can find any car with any spec I can think of.
