Want to be a racing driver?

Vauxhall’s VXR racing team are scouring the public to find a new racing driver for the 2009 season.

The winner will get their hands on a Vauxhall Astra VXR racing car with team backing for each race in the 2009 Dunlop Sport Maxx Production Car Cup – a staggering prize worth almost £100,000.

Applicants can register at www.vxrdriver.co.uk and 1,620 successful candidates will be chosen to fight it out in regional kart races. The 15 most impressive drivers will go through to a three-day intensive final with a mix of driving and character testing events.

To apply you need to be over 21 years of age and are not allowed to have held an MSA racing license.
