We took a look at the cars of Grand Theft Auto 4 today, to celebrate the game’s release – but I can’t play it.
If anyone is at home driving across Liberty City, please let us know what it’s like!
I’m stuck at work with the game’s box on my desk, staring at me. It’s urging me to play it but I’ll have to wait until this evening before I can boot up the Xbox 360.
How ironic is it that people with a free day can’t play it because it’s sold out in most retailers, and I have a copy but I’m stuck at work?

I went out and bought GTA4 this morning. Popped home and spanked the first few missions.
It is without doubt the finest gaming experience I have ever had. The graphics are stunning and the gameplay is a revelation. I bought GTA4 for my 360 so cannot comment on how the PS3 looks or plays, but who cares, as it will be incredible on any platform. Rockstar have done it again, another winner and another load of late nights………

Hi Darren,
I’ve done the first ten or so missions now, and I have to say it hasn’t lived up to all of my expectations. Just yet.
San Andreas had beautiful gameplay and I think it may take a while for the different car handling and location of GTA 4 to grow on me.
But the graphics are fantastic and the multiplayer modes on Xbox Live are nothing short of extraordinary.
I actually enjoyed ignoring the missions and driving across long stretches of motorway instead.

Did you see that news story about the kids (about 11 police think, from the video) in Milwaukee who broke into target with a sledgehammer and then broke upon the video game case and stole 1 copy of the game? I’m sorry but that is hilarious, that’s all they stole….

I’ve played about 5 missions so far and its a superb game. Multiplayer is great also so if anyones on xbox live and wants a game send me FR to BoA Wrath
I’ve also put together a quick list of 38 vehicles I’ve come across so far. Will be updating it over the next few weeks so I have a definitive list of everything you can drive:

Thanks for posting the list of cars, it’s very impressive – I’m still hunting the Aston Martin look-alike.
The game itself has grown on me immensely since its release, and the missions are becoming more engrossing with each hour that passes.
How far has everyone got to so far?

It really took me two long weeks to get me a copy of GTA 4 when it was first released. This game is no doubt most entertaining game ever.
