Its official: the new Volkswagen Scirocco is back.
After a 15-year absence from showrooms, one of the most anticipated motors of 2008 has launched.
The German giant has given the old iconic Scirocco a fresh lick of paint and a spruce-up underneath for 2008, ready for a whole new audience (and a few who remember the original).
But is it worth it?
Updating a classic is a risky game and Volkswagen’s own history isn’t ideal – anyone care to remember (or forget) the “new” Volkswagen Beetle?
But get it right, and you have a hit on your hands – think BMW’s new Mini and the everlasting Ford Mustang.
We think the new Dub is fantastic – with great looks, agile handling and even a pinch of practicality thrown in for good measure, the new Scirocco definitely rocks.
What do you make of the new Volkswagen Scirocco?
