Kahn Cosworth Sport 300 Range Rover
Custom car builders Kahn have revealed their latest creation – a 300bhp Range Rover Sport with an engine tuned by Cosworth.
But for less money you can get the more powerful Range Rover Sport 4.2 V8 HST (below). So which is the better buy?

Kahn has fitted the Cosworth Sport 300 with enormous 22-inch wheels and an aggressive body kit. But will its dramatic front bumper reduce the off-roading capability of the Range Rover? Does it matter?
We drove the Range Rover Sport in September and web editor Adrian Higgins heaped praise on the car:
The combination of traditional luxury brand and high performance is a very attractive one and Land Rover has pulled it off with aplomb.
So which would you have – the Kahn Cosworth Sport 300 or the Range Rover 4.2 V8 HST? Or one of its rivals…

All the range rover sport needs is a good set of 22 inch alloys and the Kahn cosworths 9.5J on the front and wider 10J on the back are as nice as I have seen. Standard 20 inch alloys are not quite big enough and are somewhat dwarfed by the bulk of the 2.5 tonne car. (19 inch look awful). All the other Kahn extras spoil the car. You just need a good set of 22 inch rims …… but bearing in mind they are over £3K you would proberly live with the 20′s
They have got it right with the 22 inch Kahn cosworth alloys but they have got it wrong with the front spoiler – Simple as that .
The body of a Range Rover sport is too big for 19 inch or even 20 inch alloys. The standard alloys & tyres are dwarfed in the wheel arches.
22 inch wheels make the car look in proportion and more aggressive. You have just got to be careful which 22 inch alloy set to chose and I think the Kahn cosworth alloys (wider on rear) are the best.
Its a fine line between the classy head turning
enhanced look and the tacky drug dealer spoit it look
Hey just wondering how you went aout setting up your design etc. I’m pretty new to the whole internet thing, Was the software easy to install
Range Rover bosses must read comments like this – which don’t seem to be against just the Kahn but the RR in general – and shudder. I can’t remember any part of the car market swinging against a niche so quickly as it has against big 4x4s in the last year.
i love the range rover sport hst better than eny 4×4 and i should know ive got one, its smacking fast, its very luxary, got tellies in the back, touch screens every thing you need!! and you look rich in it!!
