The doors to the British International Motor Show have been thrown open to the public today so you can experience the best motoring has to offer.
Held at London’s ExCeL show venue in Docklands the motor show runs until August 3 and has everything you need to get your heart rate up.
It’s your chance to see the Ford Focus RS, Vauxhall Insignia, Lotus Evora, Alfa Romeo MiTo and all-new Ford Fiesta months before they go on sale.
You can also wander through the cars of your dreams in the supercar paddock – pouring over luxury and sports exotics.
More than 600 models are on display from almost 70 manufacturers.
And, unlike most motor shows – if you step outside the doors of the display hall you are met with a whole host of activities.
There’s the Mazda Zoom Zoom Challenge where driver’s can pit their skills against the stopwatch on a purpose built track and even stand a chance of winning a Mazda 2 for a year.
Kids can try their hand behind the wheel of a scale-down car on the Peugeot Kids Driving School or head over to the Disney Pixar World of Cars and meet its star Lightning McQueen.
Grown ups wanting a thrill should head over to the Westfield Active Drift Experience where a racing driver will take your for a spin – literally.
To ease your conscience after the tyre smoking Westfield passenger ride you might want to take a look at the Greener Driving Pavilion where you can see advances in fuel-saving technology and alternative fuel cars.
Tickets cost from £10 for adults (weekday) and £6 for kids (weekday). Weekends cost £14 for adults and £8 for kids. Family and group tickets are also available and the Honda Live Action Arena adds a few pounds to tickets.
For people who fancy dropping in after work, tickets are £5 after 5pm.
