Hi all interested parties,
I’ve heard of the new VW Golf Mk VII coming out later this year (2009) which has a CO2 rating of less than 100g/km i.e.zero road tax!
Is this true and when?
Personally, I’ll be after the estate version and I’m keen to get hold of all the details.
Thanks keen fans
im sorry but that is ugly – the thing i dont get it vw went to town with the nice new Scirroco but it looks like the golf got left behind – far behind. The other thing i dont get it that vw owns Seat, but the new Iibza looks far better than its cousins brother, ie the Golf mk6. Id say that the best golf is the Golf MK5 – that had style whereas this looks rather ‘Granny Like’ – sorry VW
I have a mark 5 GOLF Gti and was disappointed to hear that the Mark 6 was due out so early. But after seeingthe Mark 6 I will certainly be looking to buy the new GTI (if I don’t buy a Scirocco first!). I only hope VW keeps the touches that made the Mark 5 a winner – the rid piping and honeycomb grill, tartan seats and stunning 18″ polished alloys! I have to say the new Golf is VERY similar to the outgoing car, but thats a good thing! It stops my car looking old but keeps whats great about my car, all be it with a fresh look. Well done VW!

this sure looks like a car tailor made for Russell Jones.
