The latest Ford Fiesta comes from a model line which generates some seriously impressive stats.
Since the first ever Ford Fiesta rolled off the production line more than 12 million have been built.
It has dominated the UK’s small car sales charts in most years since the 1970s and last year more than 100,000 were sold in the UK alone.
For its latest model Ford contemplated dropping the name Fiesta, and flirted with ‘Verve’ when it released its concept – but then decided it would be crazy to drop a name with so much history.
Across Europe and beyond the Ford Fiesta has found itself pulling on buyer’s heartstrings.
Many have learnt to drive in a Fiesta, had one as their first car, and some owner’s have even taken them racing and rallying.
Do you think the Ford Fiesta is an iconic car, and do you think the new model will be a success?
What are your most memorable Fiesta experiences?

I like the look of the new Fiesta, but I’m much more interested in a new Fusion, as I prefer a higher driving position. When will the replacement Fusion be launched?
