New Ford Fiesta – have you bought one?

Ford has defied the economic slowdown with the new Fiesta – it claims to have sold 11,500 of them since it went on sale at the start of October.

Are you one of the buyers? How do you think the new Fiesta compares with the last model?

Ford says the most popular version of the Ford Fiesta is the Zetec model, which 51 per cent of buyers plumped for. The most popular colours are black (21 per cent) and magenta (15 per cent).

Auto Trader road tester Andy Goodwin hailed the Fiesta as the “new leader in the supermini class” when he reviewed it. What’s your verdict on the latest Fiesta?

  1. The Ford Fiesta is a great car and gets amazing gas mileage.

I bought a new zetec 1.6 diesel it has a terrible flat spot when cold the revs take time to drop from 2000rpm to tick over a problem with the last cold icy weather ,The dealers had it in twice give me a lot of BULLSH1T still not fixed i dont think their so called trained mechanics can solve problems they can only fit replacement parts ,The other thing is the inner wings have not been sprayed .Apart from that it does 55-63 mpg

  3. I purchased a Ford Fiesta 1.4 style plus in September 2009. I am currently getting 24 mpg.
I am gutted. I have been in contact with Ford constantly but no joy.
Love the car but I feel that I have been conned.

Brought new fiesta zetec 1 month ago, done 1200 miles, already in dealership awaiting gearbox parts, fords dont know when they will arrive. Do you really want a new ford ?

Still awaiting parts for new fiesta, been told could be next month. Surely fords should have enough spare parts to rebuild a new car. Nobody talks to anybody at fords its all on e.mail so you can never get an answer.

      DONT BUY A NEW FORD.
