The Mini Convertible was launched in 2004, and went on to sell by the bucket load.

This year sees the arrival of an updated model, with improved engines and cleaner looks – helped massively by rear rollover hoops which now only pop up in a crash.

But is it cool? You decide…

    This is the car of desperate estate agents and bored housewives. The interior is shocking, considering what BMW is capable of.

    And the estate – what’s that all about? It looked stupid in the sixties and it looks even worse now.

    You just can’t help but love the Bmw Mini, the convertible version is a huge bonus for an already great little car. The new Clubman Estate version is still my favourite though.

    the MINI still received plenty of attention, which isn’t bad for a model approaching replacement and fitted with a defiantly old fashioned canvass roof
