Our Ford Ka is heading home soon. Here’s what we’ll miss about the nippy city runabout – and what we’re not so sorry to see the back of.
It’s a small car but there’s no evidence of corner-cutting. The door handles in particular have a solid, quality feel to them.
The bright white grille is getting a lot of attention from passers-by – and not in a good way.
The 16-inch alloys wheels are a £250 extra and look great – definitely worth the extra outlay.
We still see many cars that don’t provide any means of attaching an MP3 player. And many only offer iPod connections which is no good for those of us that don’t use them. As pretty much any such player can connect via line-in, it’s always good to find one on a test car.
Part-white seats come courtesy of the ‘Grand Prix Interior Pack’ – which costs £300. But they’re incredibly difficult to keep clean.
Proof you can fit a fridge in a Ford Ka.

I own one just like this. Why the hate? All of the faults listed were just optional extras anyway.
I dugg some of you post as I cogitated they were invaluable very beneficial
I personally dont like the new ones. I work on the old Ford KA’s
daily and I even have one to run around in. They are a fantastic little car and I think the new one has alot to beat.
I think this car is awful- does nothing for me!
interesting post I have just added you to my rss reader. Keep up the good work!
I think its a poor version of the origional KA, the new one is just not as good as the fiat 500 and not even as good as the old one in my opinion.
I personally think anybody who would buy this car is out of their mind, i mean it is horrible and ugly who in their right mind would buy this car. keith you are mad
This is a car we’re reviewing, it’s not one we’ve bought.
I like it, but everyone would think I was dating Graham Norton if I was seen in one.
Everyone thinks you are anyway.
