Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X 330 SST

We recently reviewed Mitsubishi’s hottest Lancer Evo X, the FQ 400 and now its smaller-but-still-spicy sibling has appeared.

Insert “you wait ages for a hot Evo, then two come along at once” joke here.

To give it its full name, this is the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X GSR SST FQ-330. Here’s our first pictures of the car:

First impressions are good – I’d driven the car 330 for about ten minutes on a media day a few weeks ago, and getting behind the wheel again I quickly settled into the comfortable and highly supportive seats.

Oddly, the engine seems to remain running for a second or two after the ignition key is taken out – it’s not a problem, but it lasts long enough for you to notice it.

We’ll have a comprehensive review of the Lancer Evo X SST 330 once our one-week test run is complete. If there’s anything you’d like to know about the car or other Mitsubishi cars, leave a comment below or contact us via Twitter.

Why is it so hard to find a right hand steer in the U.S. , or anyone that can help with info. on a location, or of someone that can get one. The Highway Patriol says; “as long as it is road legial, (Front and rear lights; ect…) that we have no problem as to what side of your car you steer from”.

  2. Very nice looking car, it has to be said. The interior is much better than older Evos…
