Jenson Button
The Brazilian grand prix could be shaping up as the championship decider for the second year running.
It was the scene of Lewis Hamilton’s last gasp ‘has he, hasn’t he’ championship win in 2008, and Jenson Button will be hoping for a similar Brazilian success this weekend.
Last time out, Vettel was the outsider of the three contenders, but a win has put him back firmly in the frame, but both he and Barichello need to finish well – and rely on Button to finish poorly to take the title.
How Button can win it:
- He finishes third or higher, irrespective of where Barrichello and Vettel finish
- He finishes fourth or fifth and Barrichello doesn’t win
- He finishes sixth or seventh, Barrichello finishes third or lower and Vettel doesn’t win
- He finishes eighth, Barrichello finishes fourth or lower and Vettel finishes third or lower
- He doesn’t score, Barrichello finishes fifth or lower and Vettel finishes third or lower
- Barrichello and Vettel retire, Button is automatically champion
