Where’s the strangest place you’ve seen an animal?

This week, we brought you the bird which nested in the most dangerous place…in the safest place, if that makes sense.

Rather than defecating all over your pristinely maintained motor, or flying headfirst into a tree, these birds decided to hole up in the wheelarch of a police car.

Strange, but true.

But is this the weirdest place you’ve spotted a creature? We’ve all heard the reports about dogs, foxes, wolves and such being hit by cars, only to emerge – totally unscathed – hours later, having spent an uncomfortable few hours lodged between the radiator and the front grille.
