The judges have whittled down the Car of the Year nominees to a shortlist of just seven.
Much like the X Factor, there was been a lot of talent on display and no doubt those that have been sent home will be disappointed not to still be in the competition.
Nerves will be tested right up until the judges cast their final vote and announce the winner closer to Christmas.
But unlike the X Factor, this is far more important – the European Car of the Year finalists have been announced in preparation for the final award on November 30.
They are as follows:
• Citroen C3 Picasso
• Mercedes Benz E class
• Peugeot 3008
• Skoda Yeti
• Toyota iQ
• Vauxhall Astra
• Volkswagen Polo
My vote would go to the Toyota iQ for offering the first viable alternative to the Smart, and being good fun to drive.
But I can’t help but thinking the judges won’t agree and the title will go to either the Astra or the Polo.
So what gets your vote? And which car do you think the judges will pick?
