You can’t ever fault David Beckham and Wayne Rooney for their contributions to English football.

These two superstars are also supporting England off the pitch – in the car market.

In the past month Beckham has bought a Range Rover and Bentley Continental Supersports. That’s more than £220,000 of Brit-mobiles to go with his £320,000 Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe and £200,000 Bentley Arnage.

He might be ten years younger than Beckham, but Man United star Rooney hasn’t flinched when it comes to cars, boasting a history costing more than £1.5 million.

Of his 20-plus cars, English motors have included a £185,000 Aston Martin V12 Vanquish, £153,000 Bentley Continental GTC Speed, a £70,000 Overfinch Range Rover Sport and a supercharged Range Rover costing £72,000.

And he’s just added to it by spending £190,000 on two Overfinch Range Rovers – one for him and one for Coleen.

Over the past three years David Beckham and Wayne Rooney have spent £1.4 million on English motors. Good lads.
