The worst kept secret in F1 is now official – Michael Schumacher will compete in the 2010 F1 championship after signing for Mercedes – the team formerly known as BrawnGP.
And with interest reaching the stratosphere in 2009 thanks to one Mr Jenson Button, the excitement can only increase further.
That’s because there are so many drivers in with a shout of taking the title.
I don’t think Button will “do the double”, but Lewis Hamilton is capable, and McLaren were very strong towards the end of the last season.
Schmacher might not have raced an F1 car in years, but I’m sure his incredible talent will still be there.
Then there’s Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel who ran Button close in 2009, and Alonso‘s Ferrari drive will be a competitive combination. And I wouldn’t bet against Massa coming out of the blocks quickly.
Who’s your top tip of F1 domination in 2010?
