Picture the scenario – you’re a Mercedes-Benz PR person. Your company has just built a menacing 571bhp Gullwing-door supercar.
Then, a few months down the line, you re-enter Formula One and sign one of the world’s most famous – and successful drivers.
What to do?
Simples – re-edit your original supercar advert with a handy bit of Photoshop and hey presto! Michael Schumacher was behind this crazy SLS upside down driving stunt!
Despite the fact Schuey was officially with Ferrari when the advert originally came out, we kind of like that Schumacher drives a Mercedes supercar. Better than when he announced on Top Gear that he drives a Fiat Croma.
The Mercedes SLS is seriously quick and gives Schumacher some much needed coolness credibility points.
But this raises an interesting issue – Jenson Button used to drive a Bugatti Veyron and Lewis Hamilton drives a Mercedes-Benz GL.
Different cars for quite different personalities, you will agree.
But what do you reckon Schuey should drive?
