A BMW M5 previously owned by Mark Webber is for sale on Auto Trader.
The Formula One star was the first owner of the 2002 BMW M5, which is powered by a 394bhp 4.9-litre V8 engine. It is capable of sprinting from 0-62mph in 5.3 seconds and on to an electronically-limited top speed of 155mph.
It’s finished in carbon black with a full black leather interior and comes with double-glazed security glass, AP Racing brakes system, KW variant suspension, 18-inch alloy wheels, all-round parking sensors, heated seats and a BMW sat-nav with TV and text function.
Red Bull F1 driver Mark Webber is currently enjoying one of his most successful seasons to date, with back-to-back wins at the Spanish Grand Prix and Monaco.
At last weekend’s European Grand Prix he had a miraculous escape when his Red Bull car launched into the air upside down at 196mph. The Australian driver had been fighting his way through the field when he ran into the back of Heikki Kovalainen’s slower Lotus on the approach to turn 12 of the Valencia circuit.
He is now running fourth in the World Championship.
Fans will be able to see him driving the 2009 Red Bull F1 car over the weekend at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Mark Webber’s BMW M5 has done 83,000 miles and is advertised for sale by Buckinghamshire High Performance for £13,995. Webber’s name is documented on the log book and the price includes an ‘M5’ number plate.
