Renault has revealed a new Twingo special edition – the Twingo Gordini Renaultsport. Despite a new leather interior, colour scheme and a host of extras such as climate control and automatic headlights, it doesn’t get a power boost.

New Mazda 3 – first drive

I’ve just driven the new Mazda 3, and it’s a country mile ahead of the old car. It feels wonderfully solid, and the 185bhp 2.2-litre diesel has deeply impressive pulling power.
