Hi James.

Thanks for the feedback. Our customer security team look out for these ads and remove them whenever they see them. If a seller has quoted an incorrect price on their ad you can report it for their attention here http://bit.ly/ReportAd

Often the seller is taking advantage of our bargain rate for cars priced under £1000. We feel your frustartion over this and know that buyers are only looking for genuine sellers so we'll be introducing a simple 'report ad' button soon which will make this process even easier and should stop these ads from getting in the way of your searches.

Hope that helps and reassures you that we are aware of the issue and working of ways around it.

Hi this website has been running for years now and I do not see why people are still allowed to put a price of there car on then put a completely different price in the description it wastes a lot of peoples time reading through a description of a car that looks good only to find out that the asking price is actually 2000 pounds more than the stated price. I know there is a way of stopping this because on other website's they either have tick boxes with all the features of cars, or they simply do not allow numbers in the description, I have actually lost the chance to buy a good car because of reading useless adverts so this makes me feel as tho autotrader as a company just doesn't care. Sort it out

It is a great shame to see very good condition cars scrapped.
What a total waste of time and damage to the planet.
Look at it this way the damage caused in turning scrap metal back to good metal and the heat gases in melting down the metal and other bits of the the car being scrapped that can no longer be used again is not helping one bit. This will in time cause a lot more damage to our planet. I am very supprised at ministers and the so called green party for not looking at this in the first place.

We should not be scrapping cars that are in very good condition and well maintained and some are not even six years old. However cars that are in very bad condition and dont run well or have been involved in bad accidents

I have had a Mazda 3 MPS and before that several small hot hatches as teh Saxo 16V, 206 GTI, 106 GTI, fast Clio's and I can assure everybody with petrol in its blood that you have more fun with the small cars. De MPS was a danger for the driving license and biggest problem with it that the same fun is only obtained with much higher speeds and that makes it more dangerous if it goes wrong, more dangerous for the driving license and in the end it costs also much more money (petrol, more expensive tires and so on). I am now nearly fifty, married, no kids, but I am seriously thinking about buying a new Swift Sport 2012. I have(test) driven one and I had the same feeling and grin on my face as I had for ten years!!
