The Nissan GT-R went on sale this morning – at precisely 7:29 – the time chosen by Nissan to reflect its now-legendary lap time around the Nurburgring.

Nissan GT-R
It has picked up 12 awards in the past 12 months, and has bowled over everyone who’s driven the 193mph missile.
But the chances are your friendly local Nissan dealer won’t be able to exchange your £56,795 for a shiny new GT-R – just 11 special centres are selling them.
Unless you’re one of the lucky 1,250 who have already placed an order, you’ll be looking at a wait of at least a year until Nissan can satisfy demand.
GT-Rs will remain a rare sight on British roads for the time being – so we want your pictures. If you’re a lucky new owner, or simply spotted one in the street, let us know and send your pics to http://drop.io/autotrader
